about us

After dedicating more than four decades as an Occupational Therapist at McGuire Veterans Hospital, and continuing my service for another 15 years working with Assisted Living patients, I stepped into retirement with a lifetime of experience, compassion, and a deep understanding of human connection. Throughout my career, I had the honor of working with countless individuals—many of whom were navigating pain, isolation, or transition. Time and time again, I witnessed the incredible power of a kind word, a gentle gesture, or a simple reminder that someone cares. It’s in those quiet moments of connection that true healing often begins.

Inspired by this understanding, I created Comforting Cards—a heartfelt endeavor that brings together two of my lifelong passions: photography and scripture. Each card is carefully designed using my original photographs, paired with hand-selected Bible verses that speak to the heart. These aren’t just greeting cards—they are messages of love, encouragement, and spiritual warmth. Whether sent to someone grieving, healing, celebrating, or simply in need of a reminder that they matter, these cards are meant to uplift, inspire, and comfort.

In today’s fast-paced, often digitally saturated world, I believe there is something profoundly meaningful about receiving a tangible card—something you can hold in your hand and feel the care behind it. Comforting Cards exists to fill that need: to offer real, personal connection in moments when words may be hard to find. It’s my hope that each card brings light to someone’s day, just as the people I’ve served have brought light to mine throughout my career.

Whether you are reaching out to a loved one, supporting a friend through a difficult time, or simply want to let someone know they are seen and cherished, Comforting Cards offers a way to say, "I care" — with sincerity, beauty, and faith at its core.
